Spirit is a supplement company with a common foundation: spirulina, which serves as the driving force behind all the supplements that support different areas of the body and mind.
Spirit’s mission is to motivate new generations and inspire people to seek ways to take care of themselves and improve their health through supplements that benefit the immune system. Due to the pandemic that began in 2019, we believe that the best way to combat it is by improving ourselves, strengthening our immune system, defenses, and strength.

This is a university project and is part of a program where some design studies and companies in London assign students projects, such as creating a brand from scratch, with an idea, a mission, and a moral purpose. This means creating brands that do good for humanity. They usually provide some general guidelines and then support the student through the process, giving feedback at each step to foster learning. In this case, the project was about creating a product based on the ingredient Spirulina.

Spirit has up to 5 different combinations to enhance various areas of the body and mind:

  • Spirit Mind: Blue spirulina + Chia seeds

  • Spirit Refresh: Blue spirulina + Agave

  • Spirit Inmunity: Spirulina + Chlorella + Stevia

  • Spirit Body: Spirulina + Soy lecithin

  • Spirit Energy: Spirulina + Brewer’s yeast

Each combination features a different color shape, collectively forming a striking color gradient, characteristic of the Spirit brand.

The logo is inspired by the spiral shape of spirulina algae seen through a microscope, and in a second complementary version, inspired by the shapes of the pools where the algae is cultivated.

We have the spirit!
The spirit of helping those who need it the most, which is why Spirit wants to collaborate with organizations that work to provide people with a dignified life. Spirulina is a product highly beneficial to health, but the people in Chad who cultivate this product face economic challenges and lack access to water.

The Lake Chad Basin is a crucial source of fresh water that supports over 45 million people. Located at the intersection of Cameroon, Chad, the Central African Republic, Niger, and Nigeria, this region holds great potential in biodiversity and natural and cultural heritage. However, between 1960 and 1985, the area of Lake Chad shrank by 95% due to reduced rainfall, causing significant imbalances in ecosystems.

WaterAid is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to providing clean water, decent sanitation facilities, and hygiene education to people who still lack access to them.

Clean water and decent toilets are a fundamental human right and should be a normal part of daily life for everyone, anywhere in the world. However, millions of people live in countries where the national economy is not strong enough to develop water and sanitation infrastructure on the necessary scale.

With the mission of ensuring that access to water and sanitation is no longer a luxury but a fulfilled right, WaterAid continues to make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most.
